We can all agree that Eldersburg has quite a few fun activities to do. From hiking to vineyards to the various surrounding museums, there’s no shortage of things to do. Today, we’re going to plan a whole Saturday in and around Eldersburg, solely using TripAdvisor’s advice.
In the morning, we’re going to get some sweet breakfast at Kismet Cafe because that is the highest ranking breakfast place in Eldersburg and it has never gotten below a “Very Good” traveler rating.
After breakfast, we’ll swing by Starbucks for coffee on-the-go to keep us fueled for the exciting adventure we have lined up next!
We’re going to start our day with a visit to the Historic Colored Schoolhouse. This “museum” of sorts is a great place for children and adults alike to learn more about how children back in the day were educated: in a one room school house, with no technology! We know, it’s crazy.
After getting a history lesson, we are going to hike! For this activity, we’re going to go to Piney Run Park. They have trails that line the water and go back in to the pines. This trail is marked as “Easy” on AllTrails, and it’s a 3.6 mile long loop.
Then, we’re going to do a little wine tasting at Serpent Ridge Vineyard. This vineyard has been open for nearly a decade, so they’ve got wine making down. From whites to reds, they have you covered. On the top 15 list of fun things to do in Eldersburg, this vineyard makes the cut at number three!
After a light wine tasting, we’re going to go to dinner at J & Y Tokyo Market. Good food, and a good time! Then, after letting the food digest, we’re going to wrap up our day in Stratosphere Trampoline Park. They are open until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays for their Cosmic Nights, which makes for some sort-of-late night fun!
